Meet our mamas!
Ahsoka is our first breeding dog and is affectionately known as ‘Soka. She’s named after the Star Wars character Ahsoka Tano. We liked the character’s commitment to doing the right thing even when it’s against the grain or even when all of the other good guys are doing the wrong thing. (She also just has a cool fighting style!). Truth be told, our sons were the ones that named her.
Next up, our Arwen! We are Lord of the Rings nerds (we were reading The Hobbit to our kids when they were 2, 4 and 6!), and Arwen is one of the iconic characters from the story. Fun fact: there is a collection of hills on one of the moons of Saturn called Arwen Colles, also named after the character.
